Margolis Companies was founded in 1926 by Isidor Margolis with a commitment to quality, hard work, and exceptional customer service. What began as a local nursery has grown into a trusted full-service landscaping company serving Southeast Michigan for over 100 years.

In 1976, the company expanded its services to include snow and ice management, further strengthening its ability to serve both residential and commercial customers year-round. The following year, Isidor and Ada's son, Barry Margolis, assumed leadership of the business and continued building upon the strong foundation established by his parents.

Today, Margolis Companies remains proudly family-owned and operated by Barry and Elaine Margolis alongside their daughter and son-in-law, Erin and Dan Tochen. Three generations after its founding, the company continues to uphold the values that have guided it for a century: integrity, quality workmanship, and a dedication to customer satisfaction.
